Oranges Canadu, sweet acidless juicing
Sweet oranges without acidity, Cana Dulce, a traditional cultivar from our area in Andalusia for juicing, also known as Naranja Tanta, the dumb orange! This orange is very special, with an sweet flavor and no acidity at all, to a point it can surprise some people! These oranges come from Marcello's farm in the Genal Valley, our farm and Sorcha's in in the valley. The juice from the oranges can be mixed with some lemon juice and add some acidity back to get more of an orange feeling. They can be stored for a couple weeks in a cool storage. |
